Copying problem
« on: 23 Jul 2003, 18:12:32 »
I have made a base on my mission, but now i need to paste it on2 my intro. So i do it in bits my pressing ctrl c then ctrl v then placing the objects where they r in the msiion. OK so far but wen i paste players with there waypoints, the waypoints dont copy properly meaning i have to do ALL the waypoints all over again which is reall annoying.

what i would suggest is highlight ALL of the things you want in your intro then copy and paste, using any gridlines as references and then checking everythnig is aligned right and select it all and move it inwhichever direction you need to......i did this with a base i made and quite quickly managed to do it,
optionally you could email me the mission, and mods (speratly) if needed and ill do it and snd the mission back to you........just a question hat version of ofp have you got, if its resitance i wont be able to do it straight away but in a day or two i might get it

check out my mission in the MISC section of ATWAR called Everon helo support base and maybe give me your opinion and/ or learn from it :)

I copy everything, use a dummy unit on a grid line intersection to get the whole thing lined up and then delete the stuff I don't need.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
