Crash Landing
« on: 11 Sep 2002, 06:43:02 »
I would like to simulate a crash landing of a plane or helo. Is it possible to set an air object a meter or so in the ground? If so can it also be set at an angle off of vertical to give it that just crashed look? I've tried searching the forum but everything I do such as setPos still has the plane/helo sitting on top. ???

Thanks for any help. :-*

One solution would be to create the helo/plane and set it to be initially flying, then set its fuel slider to zero. It'll crash right down and have that "just crashed look" :)

You can't set pitch or roll on any OFP objects.
Vehicles set in the ground will "Bounce" out.
