How do you make units sit, ive looked in the ed depot but cant find wot command it is.

type this in the init field of the unit:

this switchmove "effectstandsitdown"

or you could use playmove.  NB the behaviour of the unit must be safe or careless or they will get up again (this setbehaviour "safe")

with that animation... switchmove will instanly place him in the sitting on floor posistion... playmove will make him sit down

I Think you have to use the getin command for a chair but i'm not sure - some clever guy will tell you i'm wrong in a bit though - I'll look in to it for you.

Okay - By the looks of it you just use switchmove or playmove with "Onchair"

This is from the command ref:
       OnChair                         Sitting in chair

but i cant get it to work

so i was no help

Unitname moveincargo chair x

someone correct me if im wrong

I don't think it's moveincargo.    I have a feeling you have to get the right kind of chair to make the switchmove work.     Try searching the forum and the FAQ.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

i had this proplem.
Heres how. You make a trigger a make it activate by anyone in a radius. then in the on activation you type "unit name switchmove "onchair"
