Damn stupid AI.

I have a mission thats a sort of ambush mission. Allied forces are moveing into Lipany which seems empty but when they approach the town center a tiger tank is suddenly appearing and blowing the tank support into pieces. and then german soldiers should apear from behind the large house in the center. but they wont stand still when i put em behind and they wont run to the front side when the trigger is activated.

They really got ants in their pants. someone please help me to teach em something ;)

 :o Set the "special" field to NONE on each unit in that group!
The in the grpLeader's INIT field, type:

"DoStop _x" foreach units this; morons = units group this

 :D Right, then NAME the groupLeader "Bob", and put a "HOLD" waypoint right on top of him.  :-*


and in the switch trigger, put the following crap :

"_x doFollow bob" forEach morons


Then hit the F5 button and drag a blue synch. line from trigger to "hold" WP.
So now, all the morons will hold, stay where ya place them in the editor, and when the trigger fires
they'll all follow bob on his mission to reach the next WP.


simple and clean! :thumbsup:
