Having problems with .paa/.pac
« on: 13 Jul 2003, 16:20:44 »
Im trying to convert .jpg and .gif pictures to .paa or .pac with TexView so far, it didnt go that well. I resaved the .jpg and .gif to .tga to see if TexView opened it, and it did, but when i save it as .paa its only 1kb and is just white in Oxygen.

So do i have to save it in some different preferences. Please help

Thanks

Regards Oskar

Make sure the size of the texture is a factor of 2, eg 64, 128, 256, 512 (pixels). ALso, try to save it as a 32 bit tga with alpha channel.

well, I usually don't use Paint Shop Pro 7 to resize (it's usually the right size by the time I get to that program)..

But I took a quick look for you.   :)

All you have to do is go to:  (on the top menu)

image,
resize

or Shift + s   ;)
