Sound conversion problems
« on: 09 Jul 2003, 17:07:36 »
Hi

I'm converting my .wav sounds (in 16-Bit mono Signed) to .ogg sounds using dbPowerAmp (like most ppl do, I guess), and some sounds I convert just do not work in OFP! They're correctly converted and all, but OFP dont play them (but doesnt show any error). Any idea what this is? I thought it might have to do with the length of the wav sounds, i.e. that some sounds are simply too short to be converted, but I noticed that often the sounds that do not work are actually LONGER than those that work.

I'm confused!

:-\Err... It should have something to do with the filesize :-\?!?!
Those files that don't work and are longer than those that work, are they converted to the same quality, do they have a larger filesize ???
I don't think a filesize of 10kb or less is large enough.
Could that be the case ???

They're 20 to 60 KB in size. Acually some of the 20Kb ones did work, but the 60Kb ones didn't. They are all the same quality.
