problem with fademusic

hey all,

has anyone else been having the following problem?  I'm using the fademusic command to fadout some music over a period of 10 seconds.  I'm using the command 10 fademusic 0.  however, all it does is suddenly cut the music out after 10 seconds and hence doesn't actually fade out at all.

why oh why oh why???

are u sure u have a 10sec delay after the fadesound code?

the cutscene continues after i fade the music out anyway, so that's not the problem, unfortunately.

in the scene i fade the music out so that it doesn't interfere with a conversation between two characters so the abruptness isn't due to the scene ending abruptly itself

If it is not custom music, that is something very wierd...


Instead of using a script, try using a trigger.
If you are using a trigger, use a script.


If you are using Custom music, that you edited to keep file size down, it probably ends because you cut the sound off.

Play your OGG file, and listen at the end.  if it comes to an abrupt end, then thats why.

I honestly never had this problem.  

Also, make sure that things arent going in fast motion using setacctime..
With all those Multiplayer maps in the pending list...

You can easily add a fadeout to the music itself (if its custom). using goldwave. Ask me how if u want 2 kno  :)
