Difference in cutscenes

What is the difference between making cutscenes with the scripts which include cam_camsetrelpos etc, to cutscenes which GPA showed in his tut with the scripts like _setcam1=["c1","STAY",0.7,2.00,"t1",1.00,10,""] etc.
