how to remove addons from mission file?
« on: 09 Sep 2002, 06:53:06 »
I added some objects (supply UAZ, ...) into a mission and have now removed them. Everytime I save, it continues to add these objects into the addOns[] section in my mission.sqm file (even after I delete them by hand). I have looked to make sure dependencies do not exist that would cause this to happen. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks!

If they are not on the map, save it and then open the mission.sqm and delete all the addon entries, that works for me.

One reason why it may keep appearing is cause your saving the mission after you've edited the .sqm. You have to load the mission, otherwise you are just saving over the stuff you have just deleted.

Or what you can do, is make a new mission, and import everything from the first to it, and i think that will work - you could try using the merge thing, as that may work when it creates a new mission, and writes a new mission.sqm
