Question about Rivers
« on: 25 Jun 2003, 18:04:33 »
I have a map that Im creating that has several rivers in it. The altitude of the map goes from a max of 112 ft to a min of 25 ft. At 25 ft the rivers come into play.
Question
Is a river in the map actually the same as sea level. Do I need to reduce my over all elevations to get water to show at 25 ft. How do I maintain my peak at 112 ft.

Thanks for any insight anyone has on creating rivers.

Water exists only at height 0 and below. Thats an engine limitation.

You will have to change your map I am afraid.

Ah, one question at that point.
What should I think of, when I start a map including a river? I'm "painting" the map with Paint Shop Pro, make a ase file and import it into Visitor.
