Visitor: Res objects
« on: 21 Jun 2003, 23:32:12 »
Hi everybody who uses the nice Visitor-editor, I've a question. How can i use the Res buildings and roads and the original (of the data3d.pbo) buildings, roads, etc. together???
Does it work if I just put them all in the buldozer/data3d map? Does Ofp knows that the Res-objects are in the O.pbo????
Please answer, because I'd like to use the RES-addons and the original files

Just put the unpboed "O" add-on in your buldozer folder, and modify your system preferences in Visitor : choose "O" as the target of Natural and Artificial objects.
What is cool about this is that the "O" add-on is itself divided into several explicit folders (tree, house, anims, etc.)
You'll see those when you want to add objects from Visitor.

Nothing prevents you from importing those objects into the "O" folder : you can even classify them and put them in the relevant sub-folders.
Or do the other way round : import the "O" sub-folders into your data3d.
