Problem with an airplane

How do I get a plane to disengage after attacking for only a while?
This is the mission plan:

At area X there will be multiple randomly created units with
random propability of presence. I have an airplane coming in
to make a quick airstrike, drop a few bombs at a random target it
sees. The problem is that the plane keeps on attacking multiple targets
until it is shot down. Even if it runs out of ammo it still stays
at buzzing around that Seek & Destroy waypoint even though it has a move waypoint after that. Any ideas on how to get the plane to move to the next waypoint?

Make a trigger and it's type as a -switch- and synchronise it with "seek and destroy"-waypoint.

It should stop the plane to roam there when conditions of the trigger are met. But i don't know which these conditions should be, so u have to figure them out by yourself.   :P
