V1.85 to v 1.46??

Hi all.

I noticed some f/a-18 addons out there, and i would really like them for a mission.

Just they are for verson 1.85, and i am stuck with old 1.46

Is there any way of converting them or should i just go and buy the goty addition of somthing??

As far as I know there is no way to convert them if they use the new commands involved in the 1.85 upgrade...

I highly recommend getting Resistance though..  Any involved and cool addon will require these new commands to work properly.

Its only about AU$20.00 i think.... That would make it about US$10.00???

I have played the demo and it looks good, but i think i might wait to ofp2. When is it due out again???

it's $40 Canadian (yes, I'm Canadian), so that'd make it about $20 dollars American, not very accurate, but up here we do consider American money to be worth twice as much as ours.

Its really not worth it just so you can download addons but it comes with a fantstic campaign, in depth and all....wonderful new island, theres so many reasons to get it that a meesly £10 (yes i'm british!) is really worth it....if you can't afford just sell your body on the streets, its worth it ;D!

The Campaign is VERY good. GOod story line, however it does lack cohesion with the original, it has a very nice new island with new features like a destroyable bridge, new scenery n textures for PCs which have extra grunt, and also new features/weapons.

Good investment! Hours of fun

The missions are much harder. You fight a gurilla war and u need to arm your men from the cold bodies of fallen Russians. Although by the end of the game youd probally have an excess surpluss of arms, you need to keep your men alive and on Expert level, since you dont get always get new recruits for every fallen soldier.

Fun to steal tanks from your enemies and eventually use it against them!

But I am Married and I live on my own with my wife and childern I work I have a good work that pays me very good so 50euro is not much for me

i was just browsing through the addons at http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?sekce=unofaddons/aircrafts and almost all of them are for restance!!   The one i would really like is the Transport Plane Crash. As its just a sitting object, it woudn't have any animations, would it??? Should i just download it and hope it works or what??

I don't believe that one has any animations, but there might be other stuff.  Worst case scenario, you can delete it if it doesn't work.

And BTW, Resistance is certainly worth it, even if its still at $30(US).  And OFP2 is due out somewhere in 2004, but it wouldn't surprise me if that slips.

Someone told me OFP2 wont be coming out till 2005!!

And also I tried HMV in the city center and they are selling the Resistance pack for £19.99 (Northern Irish Currency) and i have to order it..as the only copy is in england not belfast. So where the hell did you get it for 10 quid!

I downloaded the transport plane crash, loaded up the game. I had no error messages, like: "ADDON TRANSPORT PLANE CRASH requies verson 1.90", but when i got into the editor it just wasnt there!!! Someone who has got it working, whats it supposed to appear under??
