Surface textures
« on: 09 Jun 2003, 14:45:50 »
Its been awhile since I used WRP
but after adding resistance I noticed that
I have to manually add the surface textures
using the PB Manager  everytime I open WRP.
 :'(
I never had to do this before

Any1 know why?
and better yet how to fix the problem?
 ???

This is normal with WrpEdit.

When you run WrpEdit and use File....New, you get 2 textures by default:

data\more_anim.01.pac  and
Eden\ps.paa

It has never been any different with WrpEdit and Installing Resistance or not makes no difference to WrpEdit, it doesn't actually see the Res folder anyway.

On the other hand when you load an island that you have added textures to, the extra textures will also be in the texture list.

If this is not the case, then, are you sure you saved it after adding them?

Try downloading WrpEdit again and re-installing it?

Is there a config file etc that wrp

Warnings at start besides the norm
files "c:(game path)\missions submitted\bin\stringtable.csv"
not loaded
files "c:(game path)\missions submitted\bin\config.bin"
nor
files "c:(game path)\missions submitted\bin\config.cpp"
not loaded

missions submitted is just a file of mine which doesn't exist any anyway

Not too sure here, have you changed your game config.bin and stringtable.csv files for those others?

Does the 'missions submitted' folder still exist?

If so, try removing it from the game path completely, I can't think why WrpEdit would look in there anyway.
