PAA AND PAC PROBLEMS
« on: 07 Jun 2003, 14:07:43 »
Ive got Tex view 1.1
when I convert any file to paa (example something.tga 256*256 32 bit no compression) buldozer doesnt want to view it!

It says that "cant open file \data 3d\something.paa

What should I do to apply texs to my models in o2?
please help me cause Im already fed up with it  ???

2 things:

1.  Select the face that you textured and push "E"  It will show you the path of the texture..  What do you see?

2.  If in doubt when using bulldozer, I always just pbo the addon and check it out in OFP!!  What happens when you do that?

well on face properties I see that if I got model poster.p3d Ive got there \poster prefix. Default prefix which o2 applies is \data , so imho i have to change it to "\poster" if I got poster.pbo. Right  ???

and ofp says that  "cannot open object "\data 3d\poster.pbo

all textures got 128*128 paa converted with texview 1.1 from 24 bit tga with no compression.

what should I do?

When I push E, I always have it as myfoldername\mytexturename  (It is data, but you don't need to put the data in there though, just make sure your folder with all the files is on the root drive "H:"  not "H:\programfiles\blah blah")
