Plane that lands on water? - and other ideas

Hello! I was wondering if it is possible to make a plane that can land on water. With my little addon skills, i dunno what's possible and what's not  :hmm:    

Other ideas-
- skateboard    and maybe a scooter
- space shuttle (a terrorist mission)
- very detailed buildings [all doors open; windows can be opened?; elevators; escelators (not all of these in one building)]

That's it i guess. If these were suggested before, i'm sorry  :tomato:

Thats not a plane that can land on water!  
But it is possible to make a plane land on water using the same principles as that helicopter.

Almost everything else you mentioned would be possible too (dont know about the elevators and escalators. Possibly with some creative scripting)

Sorry. That's actually a chopper that can land on water but I think you need the script for it .

I know there are scooters and shuttle's out in the OFP community you can download.

id love to see the shuttle crawler be released looks like a fun thing to run people over with

i think a detailed 747 would be better for a terrorist mission

I like the idea, but don't see the point. You step out of a boat over the water, you die. You drive the boat to more land and then get out. You step out of a plane on water, you drown. I would like to see some swimming capabilities in ofp2, and even thought I know that people have made scuba soldiers for ofp, I like to keep addons down in missions.

You my have seen my ju-52 i want to make 3 versions of this.
1 standard
2 with tailgunner (proberly just dreaming as we can't yet)
3 The float plane version

Well maybe we can park at a dock or have a boat that has a ramp where you get out of the plane (hope you don't fall through) and walk down, then get it the boat?
Don't know if would work but i will try it and see

Well if you're making a modern AC then why not have something like the Cessna 208 Amphibious Caravan (for instance) has,

Floats with intergrated retractable gear, which is lowered from the floats.

You land on water, "sail" to shore, pop out the gear and drive onto the land.

basically it is meant for dual purpose landings, but using it like this occurs aswell, and you would also give your new plane that dual purpose with it, not restricting it to water only.

dunno bout the possibilities of creating it as such, just a thought

I think the idea of the seaplane is pretty good. I was wondering about hovercraft and pilots with the single man inflatable boats so when they bail out over water there is a chance for them to be rescued or make it to shore.

welll... boats in ofp place u at shore when u 'get out'

actually.. if you're next to a properly made "dock" then the AI has no problem hopping out of the vehicle and onto the dock. Works fine with the amphibious base we made a while back....

Me again completed the floats and the plane works great just as if on land the ai handles it well too. So i am flat out getting these 2 addons going atm a pic later
