If you use a hex editing program (I use Ztree :)) and seach for data, then make a note of the file names.
It can be somewhat time consuming.
I dont need to do this that often so this is the only way I'm aware of.

Where can I get this program? If this is the only way to do it, then it's fine by me. ;D Still if there's and easier way, someone let me know. :P

Hawkins - if the p3d texture swap program HAS stopped working (you've gotta give it time, as it does take a long time to load and save) use a hex editing program.

I use XVI32 available here

which is freeware.

Or you can use any other hex editor.

All you need to do then is open the p3d, and use the "search" function to find the data/ prefix.

Then, you can find all the different textures that the p3d uses (its time consuming - which is why p3d texture swap is so handy)

edit them, save them into your new folder. Change the "data/" path to "/yourfoldername/"

save and pbo it.

Thanks DeadMeat! :)

I haven't tried texture swap for a long time. I tried it once (After I installed XP) and it didn't work. :\ Gave me some error. Can't remember what. Might try to get it to work. Would be more easier. ;D Still thanks for that program. I'll use that as the second option if TW doesn't work for me. ;)
